Herbert Hoover Presidential Library Association Board of Trustees

Lorenz Behrens of Eldridge and Jeanita McNulty of Blue Grass were re-elected on May 2 to three year terms on the Board of Trustees of the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library Association in West Branch.  They join Eldridge resident Charlotte Mohr on the Board.

Ruby Triplett, Bettendorf, was elected president of the group.

Brian Claeys of Eldridge is an ex-officio member of the Board of Trustees, due to his position as president of the Hoover Uncommon Student Alumni Association.

The Association is a nonprofit support group for the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library-Museum and National Historic Site.  Hoover, our nation’s 31st president, was born in West Branch.  He was the first president born west of the Mississippi River.
