
Bettendorf Resident Elected President of
Herbert Hoover Presidential Library Association Board of Trustees
Bettendorf resident Ruby Triplett was elected on May 2 to a two year term as president of the Board of Trustees of the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library Association in West Branch.
A member of the Board since 1997, she has served as chair of the Uncommon Student Award and Investment Committees. She is the first woman to serve as president since the organization began in 1939 as the Hoover Birthplace Society.
Re-elected to three year terms as trustees were Lorenz Behrens and Jeanita McNulty of Eldridge.
The Herbert Hoover Presidential Library Association is a nonprofit support group for the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library-Museum and National Historic Site.
