Historic costumed interpreters entertained and educated visitors on the Hoover National Historic Site for several years. This program was discontinued in 2011. However, we have kept pictures of the interpreters on this site for you to enjoy.

Costumed Interpreters

Come for the History... Stay for the FUN!

2010 marked the 7th and final year for costumed volunteers who entertained and educated visitors on the Herbert Hoover National Historic Site.

The activities of the volunteers gave visitors the opportunity to share President Hoover's simple beginnings and a chance to reflect on the community values that influenced a boy from small-town Iowa all the way to the White House and around the world.

In 2011 the costumed enterpreters bid a fond farewell to the program. The intrepreters along with the staffs of the Historic Site and the Hoover Association encourage you to visit the Herbert Hoover National Historical National Historic Site.
